As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer experience through data-driven insights and analytics for a major project undertaken by a leading Government entity in Dubai. You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in Cognos and business intelligence methodologies to generate high-level reports, analyse critical data, and provide actionable recommendations aimed at optimizing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Utilize Cognos and other relevant tools to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data to uncover insights into customer behavior, preferences, and satisfaction levels.
Report Generation and Visualization:
Develop and design high-quality reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings and insights effectively.
Customize reporting templates as per project requirements and stakeholder preferences.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer experience metrics.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Data Integration and Management:
Collaborate with internal teams to gather, validate, and integrate data from various sources.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the reporting and analysis process.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including senior management, business analysts, and IT teams, to understand project objectives and requirements.
Present findings, insights, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at various levels.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence professional, with a strong emphasis on Cognos.
Proven track record of designing and developing high-level reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Expertise in data analysis techniques and methodologies, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
Strong understanding of customer experience principles and metrics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Cognos or other relevant business intelligence tools.
Experience working on projects within the government or public sector.
Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modelling and machine learning.
