The role holder is responsible to build and manage relationships with corporate and institutional clients to ensure optimum customer acquisition, retention and income generation from sales of all appropriate Assets, Liability and Cash management products of the bank as per the bank’s policies
Understand clients’ needs and develop plans to address them.
Promote high quality sales and marketing standards for the bank’s products and services.
Assess the market and gain solid knowledge of competitors.
Monitor market trends to attract new clients and identify new business opportunities.
Penetrate new markets and business segments to gain new customers and build new ties.
Evaluate existing and potential businesses and accounts and promote entire portfolio spectrum like assets, liabilities, cash management and treasury products.
Manage complex relationships independently.
Take necessary actions on perceived negative events and early signs of potentially problematic accounts to protect bank’s interest.
Liaise with Middle Office to extend high quality customer service to clients and attend to their queries and requests on timely manner.
Assist Middle Office in Conducting annual reviews and other interim updates on business relationships in a timely manner.
Co-ordinate, where appropriate, the implementation of remedial action plans necessary to minimize potential losses.
Get involved actively in restructuring arrangements as and when required.
Implement Know Your Client (KYC) procedures for clients and adhere the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or in any other subject or equivalent is required
Master’s degree in Accounting/ Finance /Economics or in any other subject is preferred
Professional certificate is preferred i.e. Certificate in Financial Planning (CIP), Certificate of Financial Advisors (IFS), or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) is preferred
